Stump Grinding
What is Stump Grinding?
Stump Grinding is the last phase in tree removal where the unsightly, ground level stump left after a tree has been felled will be removed. Removing the stump levels the ground and allows replanting of the area with grass, plants or new trees.
Even if you feel that the stump is not unsightly or inconvenient removing the stump can avoid issues in the future. Old stumps can lead to root diseases and fungi such as honey fungus as well as suckering, which is when new roots grow from the old stump.
